The first owner of honourable certification of the Sharia adviser and auditor appeared in Kazakhstan.

Friends, we are in a hurry to send our congratulations to our colleague Adilbek Ryskulov on receiving certificate from AAOIFI - CSAA (Certified Sharia Advisor and Auditor).

Adilbek is director of Shariah compliance department in Al Saqr Finance and also an expert with 10-years' practical experience in Islamic finance. He possesses a number of professional certificates and now he also owns certificate of the Sharia adviser and auditor.

We would like to tell you more what is the AAOIFI organization and more about CSAA certification (Certified Sharia Advisor and Auditor).

Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) - organization for accounting and audit for Islamic financial institutions.
AAOIFI was establsihed in Bahrain in 1991. It is non-profit organization which was establsihed for maintenance and promotion of Sharia standards for Islamic financial institutions and also for all participants of the Islamic financial industry.

AAOIFI publishes three types of standards: sharia, accounting (audit) and regulation standards (management and ethics standards).
The Republic of Kazakhstan is an AAOIFI member since December 2014.

The program of "Certified Sharia adviser and auditor" (CSAA) is intended to provide candidates with necessary technical knowledge and professional skills on Sharia compliance and verification processes for international Islamic bank and finance industry.

Besides that Adilbek never ceases to amaze us with carrying out a number of fascinating master classes where he tells about Islamic finance history, basic principles of Islamic finance and Islamic banking, main development trends of Islamic finance industry in Kazakhstan and around the world. Among participants of the carried master classes are students and teachers of the universities, and also business owners, academic communities and representatives of various financial institutions.

And what is more dear friends, once again we want to remind that Adilbek is a teacher of the professional educational program "Islamic Finance Qualification" (IFQ). This program is developed by "Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment" (CISI) together with the Central bank of Lebanon. For those who wish to increase its financial literacy in Islamic finance there is an opportunity to register to IFQ in Almaty and in Nur-Sultan. The program provides receiving conditional grants of "AIFC Conditional Grants", with reimbursement of expenses for training in case of successful examination.
