Development history

JSC Al Saqr Finance was established in 2000 as a leasing company. 

During the years the Company established itself as a leader on the market and is among the Top 5 leasing companies in Kazakhstan. Such international companies as ORIX, IFC were among the Company shareholders. The Company attracted funding at such international organizations as EBRD, IFC, DEG, FMO, RBS. Al Saqr Finance is also an active participant of Kazakhstan stock exchange and state programs of JSC “EDF “DAMU”. 

In 2016 the Company made a decision to convert from conventional leasing company to multifunctional Islamic financial organization providing a wide range of Islamic finance services to corporate and retail sectors. 

Conversion was completed in record-breaking time thanks to qualification and well-organized performance of the Company team. Al Saqr Finance performs financing according to Sharia standards and principles since early 2017.
